Dr Monu Singh is a versatile orthopaedic surgeon with nearly 20 years of experience. He did his post-graduation in orthopaedics from L.H.M.C., under Delhi University where he was awarded the Banwarilal Memorial Gold Medal for being the best resident in orthopaedics. Dr Singh at the start of his career joined as a specialist with Delhi Health Services whereby he was instrumental in setting up the Joint Replacement and Arthroscopy unit at Maharishi Balmiki Hospital. He has subsequently trained at Flinders Medical Center and Repatriation General Hospital, Adelaide, Australia under Prof Dr Jegan Krishnan with extensive exposure to Joint Replacement Surgery with Navigation Technology & Arthroscopic surgeries of joints. Following his training he set up the dept of orthopaedics at Kailash Hospital Behror, Rajasthan, followed by ten years of senior practice at Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute and Max Superspeciality Hospital, SHBG, Delhi.
Dr Singh has trained in advanced techniques of Revision Joint Replacement with Dr Michael Kelly at Hackensack University Medical Center and has been a visiting surgeon at Abu Dhabi Knee and Sports Medicine Center. He is also a fellowship-trained surgeon in endoscopic spine surgeries as an extension of his arthroscopic skills, from Uniklinikum Bonn, Germany.
Dr Singh has been actively involved in teaching and research in the fields of Joint replacement, arthroscopy, and endoscopic spine surgeries as a member and office bearer of various professional organizations. He has numerous papers and presentations, national and international to his credit and an experience of more than 8000 surgeries. He is an expert at both preserving and replacing damaged joints and managing sports injuries.
